Traverse City, Michigan

Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, this small town is a great spot for a romantic getaway. Beaches are located all around the city. For more outdoor activities, check out the National Cherry Festival or kayak on Lake Michigan! If you prefer to stay indoors, check out some of the local breweries or wineries for tastings and tours! 2. Asheville, North Carolina

Asheville is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a popular spot for hiking, but there are plenty of other activities to do as well. Check out the downtown area with all of its art galleries and antique shops. There are also plenty of breweries and wineries to visit.
